Mike Chumley is an adjunct faculty member at Indiana University in the School of Public Affairs' Executive Education Program. His area of expertise is solving Human Resources issues for organizations who do not have their own HR person or department.

Mr. Chumley served for 20 years as the Vice President of the Union Hospital Health Group. Before coming to the Not-For-Profit Healthcare Arena, Mike gained experience in the for-profit business as the Regional Director of Stores for the Meis Department Stores.

Mike has conducted management workshops at Rose Hulman, and taught classes at Lakeland College, Ivy Tech State College, and the American Institute of Banking. One of the most popular workshops is the one day seminar - Contemporary Issues in Human Resource presented to more than 25 businesses throughout Indiana, Illinois, and Tennessee. Other business accomplishments include being the President of a for-profit retail pharmacy and serving as an account manager for an AM/FM radio station.

Mike is a graduate of David Lipscomb University in Nashville, Tennessee, where he obtained his B.A. degree in Industrial Psychology and a Secondary Teaching Degree.

In the 2004 U.S. News and World Report graduate school rankings, the School of Public and Environmental Affairs at IUPUI was ranked 35th of 253 public affairs schools. SPEA's Indianapolis criminal justice program was ranked 3rd in the nation and the nonprofit management program was ranked 4th in the nation.
