Public Management Certificate

The Public Management Certificate (PMC) is a 15-credit hour graduate program that includes five courses drawn from the curricula of the Master of Public Affairs degree program. Professionals are immersed in an academic environment (away from the workplace) designed to foster teamwork and an informal network of educated managers capable of demonstrating leadership in action.

The PMC curriculum has been revised and will go into effect in January, 2008. Click on this link to review the revised curriculum.

Public Management Certificate Program courses may be applied toward a Master of Public Affairs degree.

Founded in 1972, Indiana University's School of Public and Environmental Affairs (IU SPEA) is currently the largest school of public affairs in the country. Its master's degree in public affairs ranks second among 250 public affairs programs nationally (tied with Harvard's Kennedy School of Government).
