Protecting America's Heartland from Catastrophic Disasters

 Thursday, June 12th, 2008 from 9:00 am - 3:00 pm

This Conference explores best practices in the continuity of operations, physical security and special events security in response to catastrophic disasters in urban areas. A one day conference with panel discussions including and lead by prominent government officials, representatives from major business corporations, managers of important sporting events, military officers and representatives from area universities.
In the 2004 U.S. News and World Report graduate school rankings, the School of Public and Environmental Affairs at IUPUI was ranked 35th of 253 public affairs schools. SPEA's Indianapolis criminal justice program was ranked 3rd in the nation and the nonprofit management program was ranked 4th in the nation.
